Marcus Thuram: 'I'm not for sale'

Marcus Thuram is not thinking about leaving Borussia Mönchengladbach at the moment.
Marcus Thuram has attracted attention with his performances for Borussia Mönchengladbach following his summer move from Guingamp.

At the moment, however, the 22-year-old isn't interested in leaving Borussia-Park.

"I'm not for sale," Marcus Thuram said in an interview with t-online.de.

Asked why he chose to come to Gladbach, the French striker said:

"In my first conversation with sporting director Max Eberl and head coach Marco Rose, I felt a direct connection. Sometimes there's just this energy between people, as if you've known them forever. And I had that feeling with them. It made me feel comfortable in their presence from the very beginning.

"I was impressed with how much the club knew about me. It was like they knew me as well as only my father knows me," he said.

Thuram has made 25 appearances this season, racking up 10 goals and six assists.
