Ivan Perisic is determined to earn himself a permanent Bayern München contract, according to Sport1.

The Croatian international has settled in well in Munich on loan from Inter and is hoping to convince Bayern to take advantage of the €20 million release clause in his deal, as per the report.

Perisic is currently sidelined with a ankle injury and has targeted a return in time for Bayern's second-leg game against Chelsea on March 18 in the Champions League round of 16.

Whether Perisic will actually succeed in convincing Bayern to spend €20 million on him is doubtful as the Bavarians may want to spend their transfer budget on other, more expensive targets such as Leroy Sané, Kai Havertz and Dayot Upamecano.
