Tyler Adams has opened up on his decision to sign a contract extension until 2025 at RB Leipzig.

"I've been with RB Leipzig for more than a year now, and it's become my home," the U.S. international said in an interview on the club's website and added:

"The club is really family-oriented, and I feel good here. It's the perfect place to develop as a player and grow as a person."

After recovering from a muscle injury, which has kept him out of RB Leipzig's last few games, Adams is raring to go again.

"Suffering another injury setback was a bit frustrating. I'm happy that it's only been a couple of weeks and am excited to be back training with the team. I'm fit and ready to play," he said.

Adams and Leipzig face Wolfsburg away from home in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
