RB Leipzig left-back Angelino has opened up on his role models in an interview with Sport Bild.

Apparently, the Manchester City loanee has drawn inspiration from both a former and current Real Madrid player.

"Roberto Carlos is the best left-back I've seen," Angelino said of the 46-year-old, who played for the Spanish capital club from 1996 to 2007.

"Today, it's Marcelo, even though he hasn't played that much this season. He's so aggressive and interprets the position in the same way as I try to do it," he added.

Angelino, 23, made the move to Leipzig on loan from Manchester City in January.
