Hertha BSC sporting director Michael Preetz has confirmed there are no plans to let Alexander Nouri stay on as coach beyond the season.

Nouri, who was put in charge when Jürgen Klinsmann stepped down from the position in February, is set to be replaced by a new coach ahead of the 2020/21 season.

"It is our aim to ideally finish the season in this constellation and then make a new decision on the position of head coach for the new season from 1 July 2020," Preetz told Bild.

Bruno Labbadia and Niko Kovac have been linked with the job.
