Breel Embolo knows that he has plenty of room for improvement

Breel Embolo knows that he can still improve in a number of areas.
Borussia Mönchengladbach striker Breel Embolo is aware that he's far from a finished product.

"Of course I can still improve," Embolo said in an interview with Kicker and continued:

"On the bright side, I've had plenty of chances to score. But I can get even more dangerous in the final third. I have to make the right decisions and try to finish even faster. I still have potential to become better at finding space, and I can also improve technically.

"There are some points that I discuss with [Gladbach head coach] Marco Rose and the coaching team and try to implement. That's why I came to Borussia: To develop and take the next step," the striker said.

Embolo has scored seven times and set up four goals in 28 games for Gladbach following his summer move from Schalke 04. And while the 23-year-old admits that he could have had more goals and assists, he's satisfied with his first season at Borussia-Park.

"It could have been a bit more. But there are still some games left of the season, in which I hope I can set up or score a few goals. But, generally seen, I'm quite satisfied. I wanted to become part of the team quickly and be there right away. That worked out. I'm satisfied with how we've developed as a team and how I've brought my strengths to the table," the striker explained.
