Ten-times capped German international Florian Neuhaus no longer played a major role in the plans of Borussia Mönchengladbach trainer Gerardo Seoane this year, but there were signs that he was regaining favorability over the last three match-days. Seoane turned to the 27-year-old three times off the bench in Gladbach's last three league fixtures. Neuhaus also earned a surprise start in the recent Pokal fixture against Frankfurt.

Unfortunately for the long-time foal, a foot injury sustained in Sunday's league fixture against St. Pauli will sideline him for at least two weeks. Neuhaus' club disclosed no further information about the length-of-absence of Wednesday, only noting that he would be unavailable for forthcoming league fixtures against Freiburg and Dortmund.
