Charles Aranguiz set to sign new Leverkusen deal – Karim Bellarabi to follow suit?

Charles Aranguiz is reportedly set to sign a new deal with Bayer Leverkusen, who are hoping to agree on a contract extension with Karim Bellarabi as well.
Charles Aranguiz is set to extend his contract with Bayer Leverkusen beyond 2020, according to Kicker.

The 31-year-old was recently linked with a move to Bayern München, but Kicker claims that it's only a matter of time before he will put pen to paper on a new deal with Leverkusen as his agent has reached an agreement with 'Die Werkself'.

Meanwhile, Leverkusen also want to extend Karim Bellarabi's contract, which runs until 2021.

"Talks are underway," Leverkusen boss Rudi Völler confirmed in an interview with Kicker.

"When he brings his qualities, his high-speed football, to the pitch, he can make a difference. We are very satisfied with him," Völler said.

The 30-year-old, who has consistently been linked with a move to England in the past, will now have to consider whether he wants to sign a new long-term deal at Leverkusen or seek new adventures.
