Borussia Dortmund are understood to be among a number of clubs tracking Ajax goalkeeper André Onana.

According to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf', Dortmund have contacted the representatives of the goalkeeper, who has reportedly also been targeted by FC Barcelona, Chelsea, Tottenham, Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan.

Onana's price has been estimated at €40 million, but Ajax might have to lower their demands due to the ongoing corona crisis if the 24-year-old is to be sold this summer. He joined Ajax from Barcelona in 2015 and is under contract until 2022.

Meanwhile, Dortmund have expressed interest in extending the contract of their current first-choice goalkeeper, Roman Bürki, whose deal expires in 2021.

"We are basically in talks with Roman, but have suspended the subject for the time being because of the corona crisis. However, both sides still want to reach an agreement and can well imagine this," BVB boss Michael Zorc recently told WAZ when asked about the club's talks with Bürki.
