Hertha BSC are reportedly interested in FC Köln striker Jhon Cordoba.

According to B.Z., the 27-year-old has been lined up as a potential successor for Vedad Ibisevic, who will not be offered a new deal at the German capital club.

FC Köln want to extend the contract of Cordoba, whose current deal expires in 2021, but hasn't been able to reach an agreement with the striker so far.

Should Cordoba turn down a contract extension, it's conceivable that FC Köln will look to offload the striker this summer to avoid losing him for free next year.

The striker made 31 appearances in the 2019/20 season, scoring 14 goals.
