Bayern München and Germany captain Manuel Neuer insists he's not thinking about retiring from football.

The 34-year-old still has two and a half years left on his contract with Bayern and says he's not considering hanging up his gloves anytime soon.

"I play because I enjoy it, and at the moment I still feel needed," Neuer told t-online.de and added:

"Let me put it this way. As long as my body is doing well and I'm needed, I won't think about retiring."

The former Schalke 04 goalkeeper has made a total of 414 appearances in the Bundesliga.
