Nico Schulz could still be 'valuable' for Dortmund, insists sporting director Michael Zorc
Nico Schulz has struggled to live up to the expectations at Borussia Dortmund following his move from Hoffenheim in 2019, but the left-back shouldn't be written off yet, says sporting director Michael Zorc.

The 27-year-old left-back has been labelled as a flop after his €25.5 million move from Hoffenheim in the summer of 2019, but Zorc still reckons he could come good.
"He must continue to fight, work and play his way out of his difficult phase," Zorc told Ruhr Nachrichten and added:
"It's important that he uses his speed and that he's active. Then he can be valuable for us."
After fighting his way back from muscular problems, Schulz has started two games in a row in the absence of Raphael Guerreiro, who has been sidelined with an injury.
"He's working hard and is active after he was out for a long time. I like that, and it's good for him," said Dortmund coach Lucien Favre.
