Edin Terzic confirms Jadon Sancho remains sidelined for Dortmund's clash with Hertha

Jadon Sancho will not be fit in time for Borussia Dortmund's encounter with Hertha BSC, but Raphael Guerreiro and Giovanni Reyna could potentially be involved.
Borussia Dortmund coach Edin Terzic has given an injury update ahead of his team's Bundesliga tie with Hertha BSC on Saturday.

The long-term injured Axel Witsel will definitely miss Saturday's game as well. Meanwhile, the clash definitely comes too soon for Manuel Akanji and Jadon Sancho, the BVB coach is set to make a late decision on Raphael Guerreiro and Giovanni Reyna.

"Manuel Akanji has increased his workload and should start part of team training again tomorrow. He will not be ready for the weekend though. Sancho remains sidelined," Terzic told reporters at the pre-match press conference.

"Raphael Guerreiro and 'Gio' Reyna have also continued to make progress, we have to wait until tomorrow for more updates."

Dortmund sit sixth in the Bundesliga ahead of the game.
