Bench role not an option for Freiburg's Mainz loanee Florian Müller
Freiburg goalkeeper Florian Müller says a possible return to his parent club Mainz depends on his sporting perspective at Opel Arena.

Florian Müller has made it clear that he will not be returning to Mainz to sit on the bench.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper, who is on loan Freiburg from Mainz until the end of the season, told Kicker:
"For me, in any case, it's not an option to sit on the bench.
"I've proven this season that I'm a seasoned Bundesliga goalkeeper and that I can play well at this level. It's my ambition to play in the Bundesliga next year."
Asked if he has discussed his future with Mainz boss Christian Heidel, Müller responded:
"Not really yet. We only spoke briefly after the game in Mainz. We'll take our time to discuss everything in the summer."
Müller joined Freiburg on loan at the start of the season after losing the battle for the number-one spot at Mainz to Robin Zentner.
Even though he has featured in every game for Freiburg this season, it has been reported that his loan move is unlikely to be turned into a permanent one.
