DFL reveal new Derbystar ball for 2021/22 Bundesliga & 2. Bundesliga seasons
Select Sport Group’s Derbystar has been German leagues’ – both Bundesliga & 2.Bundesliga – go-to match-ball since the 2018/19 season.

The new match ball will come in dark blue and bright orange with a 3D diamond structure that looks visually appealing and easy on the eye.
Deutsche Fußball Liga has extended its partnership with the sport brand until 2026.
Derbystar has been a part of Select Sports Group since 1991, with a strong market presence within the European football scene such as leagues in Portugal, Scandinavia, Belgium, Holland
Derbystar has been producing class-A match balls since 1968, when the company was formed in 1968 in Goch, a town in North Rhine-Westphalia, close to the border with the Netherlands.
The company first gained prominence in the 70’s as a supplier, a decade after Bundesliga came into existence. Derbystar balls were used for all 306 Bundesliga matches in the 1979/80 season.
