VfB Stuttgart have lined up Nico Schlotterbeck as a potential replacement for Marc Oliver Kempf, according to Kicker.

With one year left on his Stuttgart deal, Kempf has been linked with Eintracht Frankfurt and is likely to be on the move this summer after turning down a contract extension at Mercedes-Benz Arena.

Schlotterbeck, currently on loan at Union Berlin from SC Freiburg, could arrive in his place if Stuttgart are willing to meet his asking price of €5-6 million, as per Kicker.

The report further claims that Stuttgart have targeted SC Paderborn winger Chris Führich as an option to replace Nicolas Gonzalez should the Argentina forward depart the club.
