Yesterday, Schalke 04 lost their third Bundesliga match in a row as 'The Royal Blues' were beaten 2-1 by Borussia Mönchengladbach. Thus, Schalke still haven't taken a single point this season.

Despite the defeat, Schake 04 coach Domenico Tedesco says his team is improving, and he felt Schalke deserved a point yesterday.

"Nobody is happy with today's outcome. Some of the recent games have definitely not been good ones, but today wasn't that bad. Despite the result, we are still heading in the right direction," Tedesco told schalke04.de and added:

Ultimately we didn’t take our chances today. We are missing just a little of bit of the necessary luck you need, for example Yann Sommer was outstanding today. I think that we actually deserved a point. We need to get back some defensive stability and with that some confidence."

Winning confidence is the near future could be hard, though, as Schalke's coming opponents are FC Porto and Bayern München.

"We want to get ourselves back on track in the next few games, but Porto and Bayern München are two very difficult opponents. We are, however, looking forward to these games. The lads are constantly giving their all, and the mood in training is always good. If we play like we did today, then I am confident that we will break our duck soon enough," Tedesco said.
