By Peter Weis   @PeterVicey

Medical passed, Bayern backup keeper Alexander Nübel now officially joins former Bayern head-coach Niko Kovac at AS Monaco in Ligue 1.

At this time a two-year-long loan arrangement is confirmed, with details about a possible loan-fee still unknown.

A scheduled weekend medical has been absolved and, as a result, disaffected FCB back-up net-minder Alexander Nübel has a new home where he should get his sought-after playing time. The deal was confirmed by senior reporter Karlheinz Wild of German footballing magazine Kicker on Sunday.

According to Wild, a two-year-long loan arrangement has been agreed upon. While all loan arrangements can in principle be terminated at any time, Wild reports that Nübel's contract contains a clause easily invoked after the first season should the two clubs wish to back out. No information about a loan fee can be confirmed at this time.

Nübel's replacement, long since reported to be former #2 Sven Ulreich, was officially obtained on a free transfer on Friday afternoon.
