Dortmund camp updates: Moukoko returns, Wolf and Bynoe-Gittens sidelined indefinitely
Mixed news out of Dortmund training camp on Monday ultra-phenom Youssoufa Moukoko returned to full-team training for the first time since March.

Even though rain had thoroughly soaked the pitch at the Ri-Au Sports Facility, the 44-year-old trainer hung around to deliver some crosses to youngsters Steffen Tigges and Youssoufa Moukoko. Rose put in the extra time lobbing some fairly deft crosses to both players.
For Germans, the return to full team training for the 16-year-old Moukoko remains a special moment indeed. Out of action since March, the Wunderkind of all Wunderkinds has already produced moments of unprecedented dazzle with his three goals for the senior side.
Moukoko's former Dortmund U23 colleague hasn't tallied for the senior team yet, but never lost form for the club juniors last year. Tigges' 22 goals led the Dortmund reserves in their promotion campaign to the 3. Bundesliga last season. Serviceable performances in seven senior squad appearances led to to some speculation that he might be loaned out this year.
According to Matthias Dersch, the Dortmund correspondent for German footballing magazine Kicker, the BVB have no intention of moving Tigges. Dersch noted in his daily filing that the Schwarzgelben are committed to keeping him as their third-string center-forward behind Erling Haaland and Moukoko.
The need to retain Tigges became even more acute at the start of the week as Dortmund confirmed the long-term loss of two of its players. The perpetually loaned-out Marius Wolf won't be shipped off to his fourth different loan destination in four years this autumn, but he won't feature for his parent club anytime soon either.
The 26-year-old winger was confirmed to have suffered a partial ACL tear on Monday; an injury that could sideline him for months. The news is even worse for highly-rated teenage prospect Jaime Bynoe-Gittens. The 16-year-old Englishman suffered a full ACL tear and will likely be unavailable for both the senior and reserve squads until 2022.
