Official: Weiser joins Werder on loan
Mitchell Weiser joins Werder Bremen on a season-long loan deal from Bayer Leverkusen.
Werder Bremen have concluded a deal to sign Bayer Leverkusen wide man Mitchell Weiser on loan.
"The opportunity to loan Mitchell has arisen at short notice. He is an experienced Bundesliga player who can be used on the flank both offensively and defensively and can help us quickly," said Werder managing director of football Frank Baumann.
Weiser is looking forward to the new task at the 2. Bundesliga club:
"I am very happy that we were able to work out a deal before the end of the transfer period. For me, Werder is still a big club. I'm looking forward to the task and want to get as much playing time here as possible."
