After leading FC St. Pauli to promotion to the Bundesliga in the 2023/24 season, Fabian Hürzeler appears to be on his way out of the club.

According to Sky Germany, Hürzeler has reached an agreement with Brighton & Hove Albion to become their new manager.

Brighton and St. Pauli are now said to be in talks over a fee for the coach, who is set to replace Roberto De Zerbi at the Premier League club.

Hürzeler extended his contract with St. Pauli in March. According to Sky Germany, there is a gentleman's agreement between him and St. Pauli that he can leave if he receives an offer from a different club.

The 31-year-old has been the head coach of St. Pauli since December 2022.
