Bild report that VfB Stuttgart are considering Victor Boniface as a potential replacement for Nick Woltemade. Sebastian Hoeneß’s side will also be without Deniz Undav after he suffered an injury in yesterday’s narrow win over Borussia Mönchengladbach.
There is no official contact between the clubs, although Leverkusen are aware of Stuttgart’s interest. Bild also report that VfB are prioritizing other options from clubs outside Germany.
After last season’s late snub by Al-Nassr, Boniface returned to Leverkusen following a failed medical at AC Milan. Just like that deal, the Nigerian striker could be available for an initial loan deal. Boniface is yet to feature for Leverkusen this season.
