With the future of Serhou Guirassy remaining uncertain, VfB Stuttgart are considering Hamburg's Robert Glatzel as a potential replacement.
Guirassy has attracted interest from Borussia Dortmund pushing Stuttgart into exploring possible replacements for the 28-year-old.
Hamburg’s Glatzel is among the candidates to replace Guirassy. It is reported that a year ago, Stuttgart had an agreement with Glatzel to move to the MHP Arena, but he chose to remain at HSV.
Glatzel concluded the 2. Bundesliga season as the joint top scorer, netting 22 goals alongside Christos Tzolis (Fortuna Düsseldorf) and Haris Tabakovic (Hertha Berlin).
The 30-year-old has a release clause of €2 million in his contract and could join the club alongside Yannik Keitel, Nick Woltemade, Justin Diehl, and Julian Chabot, all of whom will join up with VfB as the club gears up for their return to the Champions League.
Stuttgart are also working on a deal that would see Deniz Undav sign for the club permanently after his successful campaign on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion.
