Report: Stuttgart star set for first Germany call-up

Angelo Stiller will reportedly be handed his first Germany call-up for the upcoming Nations League matches.

Angelo Stiller has established himself as a key player for VfB Stuttgart following his move from Hoffenheim in the summer and played a key role in the club's sensational second-place finish in the Bundesliga last season.

And, apparently, the 23-year-old central midfielder will now be rewarded for his fine performances with his first call-up to the German national team.

That's according to Sport Bild, who reports that Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann is set to include Stiller in his squad for the Nations League matches against Hungary and the Netherlands.

Nagelsmann's full squad will be revealed on Thursday.

Stiller has featured 17 times for the German U21 national team, scoring two goals.
