One of the players who has benefited from the change of manager at Bayern Munich is Dayot Upamecano.

After slipping down the pecking order under Thomas Tuchel, the Frenchman is back in the starting line-up under Vincent Kompany.

Unsurprisingly, Upamecano is pleased with the impact Kompany has made at Bayern since taking over.

"I'm very happy that he's with us at Bayern," Upamecano said at a press conference.

"He is a very good coach who plays good football. He gives me a lot of advice because he played in my position for many years.

"I think I'll make a lot of progress with him," he continued.

Kompany has started Bayern's first three games this season.
