What Bayern want to sign this summer

Kicker has revealed what positions Bayern Munich are looking to strengthen in this summer's transfer window.

After a disappointing 2023/24 season, Bayern Munich will be looking to make adjustments to their squad in order to bounce back next season.

According to Kicker, the Bavarians are looking to bring in at the minimum a new striker to replace Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, at least one winger, and a holding midfielder.

Should Alphonso Davies, who has been linked with Real Madrid, leave, Bayern will also look to sign a left-back, with AC Milan's Theo Hernandez their preferred target.

If one of their centre-backs were to head out the exit door, Bayer Leverkusen's Jonathan Tah could be brought in as a replacement.

Bayern are already said to be closing in on their first summer signing, with Sportbuzzer reporting that 18-year-old Assan Ouedraogo is set to join the Bavarians, but he's expected to remain on loan at Schalke 04 to continue his development and therefore won't be a boost for next season.
