1.FC Köln linked with exciting Los Angeles FC star David Martínez

According to a report by journalist Fernando Petrocelli, David Martínez is likely transferring from Los Angeles FC to 1.FC Köln in summer.
The striker is scheduled to play his farewell match for the MLS outfit against the Seattle Sounders on Monday afternoon.
Petrocelli explains that the Cathedral City club plans to officially present the 20-year-old talent as a new signing in July.
Since Martínez is still under contract in LA until the end of 2027, a transfer fee will be due, the amount of which has not been disclosed.
The skillful left-footed dribbler moved from his native England to the United States in the summer of 2024 for €3.2million.
Martínez prefers to play on the right wing, but can also operate on the left or in the center, and has scored nine goals in 21 appearances.
