Leon Goretzka’s future at Bayern Munich remains open, according to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg.

Unlike the summer of 2024, the Bavarian giants are not pushing for a transfer at the end of this season.

If Goretzka were to stay, a contract extension could become an option however there are no negotiations yet.

The 30-year-old’s current deal runs out in 2026, from which he currently earns a salary of up to €18million per annum.

A recent upturn in form and his return to the German national team are believed to be reason for Bayern’s patience over the matter.
