Bayern prodigy Jonathan Asp Jensen joins Deportivo La Coruña

The 20-year-old only made one appearance off the bench for Bayern's first team in a 2-0 win over VfL Wolfsburg in May 2024.

After much speculation surrounding his future, FC Bayern Munich are bidding farewell to Jonathan Asp Jensen who moves to Spain.

As the record champions announced, the 20-year-old midfielder is joining newly promoted La Liga side Deportivo La Coruña.

The talented Danish midfielder has signed a contract there until 2031, while Bayern pocket a transfer fee of €6million.

Asp Jensen spent last season on loan at Swiss first division club Grasshopper Zurich where he garnered plenty of attention.

While in the Swiss Super League, he scored eight goals and provided six assists in 33 topflight appearances.
