That Jamal Musiala is a player of special ability was demonstrated once again in Germany's Euro 2024 opener, when he starred in their 5-1 win over Scotland.
A number of clubs, including Manchester City, are said to be monitoring the 21-year-old, and Bayern are naturally determined to fend off that interest by tying Musiala down to a new long-term contract.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Bavarians have been preparing to extend his contract for several months, with the club prepared to make him a "very special" offer financially.
With Musiala's contract set to expire in 2026, Bayern are hoping to seal an extension in the coming months.
Bayern signed the youngster from Chelsea's youth team back in 2019. Since then, he has made 163 appearances for the Bavarians, scoring 43 goals and providing 31 assists.
