Brighton boss drops hint over Gross' future amid Dortmund links

Brighton & Hove Albion boss Paul Barber has hinted that Pascal Gross is moving to Borussia Dortmund.

According to reports, Borussia Dortmund are on the verge of signing Brighton & Hove Albion and Germany midfielder Pascal Gross.

And in an interview with Talksport, Brighton chief executive Paul Barber has admitted that a move to the Black and Yellows is likely to be on the cards for the 33-year-old.

“Pascal has been a fantastic servant to this club. From the day we opened our account in the Premier League," Barber said, adding:

“Up until last season, he was still scoring goals, assisting goals, getting into the German national squad and getting into the squad for the Euros.

“Obviously, we'd love to keep him. We're also mindful of the stage that he is in, in his career and the opportunity that Dortmund might provide for him.”
