Bild is speculating that Borussia Dortmund midfielder Salih Özcan's loan spell at Wolfsburg could be cut short.
In an interview with the German tabloid, the 26-year-old makes it clear that he'd like to play more.
"Of course you're unhappy when you don't play, especially when I know I have the qualities to help the team," Özcan told Bild.
“When you don't play, it always makes you think. That's not the case at the moment. I don't want to look into the future right now.”
The fact that Özcan struggles to understand why he doesn't play more doesn't make things any easier.
"I don't really know myself. I can't explain it to myself. I give it my all in training, the coach knows what qualities I have. At the end of the day, the coach decides, I just have to keep going and stay positive. Then I think I'll get my chance," he said.
Özcan has played 361 minutes in 11 appearances for Wolfsburg since joining from Borussia Dortmund last summer.
