Espanyol have enquired about the availability of Bayern Munich winger Bryan Zaragoza as they look to strengthen their wide attacking options this summer, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The newly promoted La Liga side are reportedly keen to add pace and creativity on the flanks, with Zaragoza among the players under consideration.

However, the report states that the biggest obstacle to a potential deal is the 24-year-old's salary. Espanyol are understood to have concerns about whether they can afford the wages Bayern currently pay the Spain international.

Zaragoza remains under contract at Bayern until 2029, meaning the Bundesliga champions are under no pressure to sell - however, as the Bayern higher-ups have claimed multiple times, Zaragoza is among the players Bayern do want to sell this summer.

Zaragoza has played for Bayern Munich on seven different occasions, with the last one being in May 2024.
