After signing from Arminia Bielefeld in the summer of 2023, Robin Hack enjoyed a breakthrough season in the Bundesliga with Gladbach, scoring 10 goals and providing two assists in 29 league appearances.

However, he's had a slow start to the new campaign after missing much of Gladbach's pre-season due to injury.

And despite making his first start of the season in Saturday's 2-0 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt, the 26-year-old still doesn't feel at the top of his game.

"I was happy to play from the start and I feel pretty good," Hack told Kicker after the game.

"But after the 60th minute I noticed that I was missing that last bit of energy. In one-on-one situations, too, I'm still missing a tick to get back to 100 percent.

"I will continue to work hard and hope that I can score goals again soon," said Hack, who will face Union Berlin with Gladbach on Saturday.
