Increasing signs that Füllkrug will start against Denmark

"Everything indicates" that Niclas Füllkrug will start against Denmark, reports Bild.

After scoring two goals off the bench at the European Championships so far, Niclas Füllkrug looks set to make his first start for Germany against Denmark in the round of 16 on Saturday.

According to Bild, there are growing signs that the 31-year-old striker will lead the line for Germany at his usual home ground, Dortmund's Signal Iduna Park.

Füllkrug was seen playing up front as Germany trained on Wednesday, with the other players being constantly rotated.

In light of this, the German tabloid reports that there is an expectation within the team that Füllkrug will play up front against Denmark.

Should he start, the big question is who will be pushed out of the starting eleven.

Bild has previously suggested that Kai Havertz could move back to attacking midfield, with Florian Wirtz dropping out of the starting eleven.
