Jatta training separately after Polzin sidelines winger for "purely sporting reasons"

Jatta was barely been able to showcase his talents due to multiple ankle injuries, playing just 8 games in the 2.Bundesliga last season.

As Kicker reports,  Bakery Jatta has recently been forced to sit out Hamburger SV's training camp in Herzogenaurach.

While his teammates worked on tactical refinements under coach Merlin Polzin, Jatta completed a separate program.

The Gambian winger also did not feature for HSV in last Saturday's 2-1 friendly defeat against Sturm Graz.

Polzin cited "purely sporting reasons" for his decision, with new signings Rayan Philippe and Emir Sahiti were on the right wing instead.

It seems unlikely that the situation will turn positive for the 27-year-old, with BILD also pinning Jatta on the club's departure list.

However, Jatta signed a well-paid contract until summer 2029 and whether there will be another lucrative offer from abroad remains uncertain.
