Having provided a remarkable six assists in his last three games, Julian Ryerson’s recent form has intensified speculation over his future at Borussia Dortmund.

While the English Premier League has been mentioned as a potential destination for the wing-back, Absolut Fussball reports that he sees a move to the Italian Serie A as the “more realistic and possibly more enticing option.”

Ryerson is comfortable in Dortmund and is under contract until 2028, so a stay is by no means off the table. However, after eight years in Germany, the 28-year-old may be tempted to challenge himself in a new league.

The Norwegian international joined BVB from Union Berlin for a reported €5 million in January 2023.

Since then, he has scored seven goals and contributed 20 assists in 131 appearances for the Black and Yellows.
