RB Leipzig are still contemplating making a move for Celtic's Nicolas-Gerrit Kühn, according to Sky Germany's report.

Interest in the winger has “intensified” in the words of journalist Philipp Hinze, although other targets are on the shortlist.

The 25-year-old demonstrated his class on numerous occasions with 13 goals and 9 assists in 32 games to lift the SPFL title.

Under new head coach Ole Werner, a playing profile seems clear - Leipzig will play with wingers and a back four next season.

Whether it's a 4-3-3, a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-2-2-2, the Celtic winger would slot in perfectly into any of the three systems.

Elsewhere, Die Roten Bullen have supposedly cooled their interest in Valencia's central defender Cristhian Mosquera.

Although a verbal agreement was reached with the player, Leipzig were unwilling to pay the asking price which has risen since his involvement in the U-21 EURO's.
