In the wake of HSC Montpellier's relegation, Joris Chotard is a candidate listed for a transfer away from the French club.

Marc Mechenoua, who writes for Goal.com and Le Parisien, reports that the 23-year-old is on the radar of Hamburger SV, FC Köln, and Werder Bremen.

Montpellier is demanding just under €4million euros for Chotard, who also has admirers in England and France.

The right-footer can play both as a midfielder and further wide, making 26 appearances with a solitary goal in Ligue 1 last season.

Chotard has also represented France in several youth national teams from U-18 to U-21 and the French Olympic team in 2024.

His contract with Montpellier only runs until next summer so ‘Le Paillade’ would like to cash in while they can.
