Freiburg star relishes taking on former club Bayern
Woo-yeong Jeong has discussed Freiburg's upcoming clash with his former club Bayern München.
Freiburg forward Woo-yeong Jeong is looking forward to Saturday's Bundesliga clash against his former club Bayern München.
Jeong joined Bayern's U19 team from South Korea in January 2018 before moving on to Freiburg in the summer of 2019.
The 22-year-old told FC Bayern's official club magazine, '51':
"Everyone looks forward to playing against Bayern.
"Those are always difficult games, of course, but we're in good shape and will try to win.
"When I came to Freiburg, one of my goals was to play against Bayern at some point. Now I'm really looking forward to the clash.
"I had a difficult start, but things are going very well at the moment. I hope I can deliver against FCB too."
Jeong has found the net three times in 12 games for third-placed Freiburg this season.
