Dortmund linked with Benfica striker

Benfica forward Darwin Nunez has reportedly attracted interest from Borussia Dortmund.
Borussia Dortmund are keeping tabs on Benfica forward Darwin Nunez, according to reports.

Record and Fussballtransfers are reporting that Dortmund chief scout Markus Pilawa has held talks with Nunez's agent, Edgargo Lasalvia, without discussing specific numbers.

However, Dortmund are not the only club interested in Nunez, with Inter and AC Milan also said to have contacted the player's agent.

Benfica have ruled out selling their prized asset in January, but the situation should be different at the end of the season.

Dortmund are hoping to keep Erling Haaland beyond the summer, but should he be on the move, Nunez could be an option to replace him.

The 22-year-old has found the net 11 times in 16 games for Benfica this season.
