Baumann pens new Hoffenheim deal

Hoffenheim have tied Oliver Baumann down to a new contract.

Hoffenheim goalkeeper Oliver Baumann has put pen to paper on a new contract with the Bundesliga club.

The 31-year-old's new deal runs through 2024.

"'Oli' is one of the best and most consistent goalkeepers in the league and a reliable leader in our team," said Hoffenheim director of professional football Alexander Rosen.

"But it's not just his sporting achievements, but his personality, impeccable character and absolute identification with the club that make him a face of TSG."

Baumann has featured 272 times for Hoffenheim since his move from Freiburg in 2014.
