Fantasy Bundesliga tips: 10 players to consider for Matchday 16

Here are 10 players you should consider bringing into your Fantasy Bundesliga team for Matchday 16.
In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious picks such as Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski.

Instead, we will highlight players with a maximum ownership percentage of 15%, who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 16.

Benno Schmitz, FC Köln (Defender, 5M, 5%)
Although FC Köln fell to a surprising 0-2 defeat at home to Augsburg last week, Schmitz still managed to amass 11 points. This time around, he and Köln face a Wolfsburg side, who have lost their last five games in all competitions.

Nico Schulz, Dortmund (Defender, 5M, 3%)
The left-back should keep his place in the line-up against bottom-placed Greuther Fürth if Raphael Guerreiro misses out again.

Nico Schlotterbeck, Freiburg (Defender, 9.1M, 13%)
Schlotterbeck has found the net two games in a row, having taken a whopping 41 points from his last three games.

Angelino, RB Leipzig (Defender, 14.2M, 13%)
It's been a disappointing season for Angelino so far, but the Spaniard looked more like his former self in Domenico Tedesco's first game in charge, providing two assists and scoring 19 points.

Patrick Wimmer, Bielefeld (Midfielder, 4.6M, 1%)
Wimmer has done consistently well, picking up six points on average despite playing for a struggling Bielefeld side, who have scored just 10 goals this season. Having won just one of 15 matches this season, Bielefeld need to start picking up more points soon and will probably target three points at home against Bochum.

Julian Brandt, Dortmund (Midfielder, 11.3M, 4%)
Brandt made his return from a head injury when he came on to score the equaliser against Bochum last time out and should start against bottom-placed Greuther Fürth.

Jamal Musiala, Bayern (Midfielder, 12.5M, 8%)
After scoring and racking up 13 points against Mainz, Musiala is in line to keep his starting spot against Stuttgart despite sustaining a hand injury. If, contrary to expectation, he's not starting, you will be able to see it before the transfer window closes since Stuttgart and Bayern play the early game tonight.

Stevan Jovetic, Hertha BSC (Striker, 10.5M, 1%)
Jovetic has scored three goals in his last two games and will look to build on that form against Mainz.

André Silva, RB Leipzig (Striker, 15.8M, 8%)
After getting on the scoresheet last week, Silva has favorable fixtures against Augsburg and Bielefeld coming up before the winter break.

Marco Reus, Dortmund (Striker, 15.8M, 8%)
With Borussia Dortmund facing Greuther Fürth at home, Erling Haaland is probably the most obvious player to target this week, but if you're looking for a differential or want to double up on Dortmund up front, Marco Reus is a good option as well, having scored 10 points per game on average.
