Ulreich feels ready to deputize for Neuer
Sven Ulreich is eagerly anticipating the coming weeks as he prepares to deputize for Manuel Neuer.
Despite having played just two games so far this season, Sven Ulreich feels fully ready to fill in for Manuel Neuer in the weeks to come.
The 33-year-old is in line to come into the line-up against Bochum this Saturday, with Neuer expected to be out for weeks following knee surgery.
"You prepare every week to be ready when you're needed. Of course, it's good that I played a few weeks ago. I feel ready for the game," said Ulreich, who last replaced Neuer in January, in a video on Bayern's homepage.
"When you know you're needed at the weekend, your focus on the game is different, of course. It's different from when you know you're on the bench."
