Nagelsmann confirms Neuer is in line to return from injury against Salzburg

Julian Nagelsmann says Manuel Neuer will be back in goal for Bayern against Salzburg "if nothing happens in training today".
Bayern München coach Julian Nagelsmann has confirmed that Manuel Neuer is in line to make his comeback from injury against RB Salzburg in the Champions League tomorrow.

"If nothing happens in training today, Manu will play," Nagelsmann told Sky Germany.

Neuer has been sidelined since mid-February following knee surgery.

The 35-year-old club captain and number 1 has missed five games in a row.

Bayern drew 1-1 in Salzburg in their first Champions League round of 16 clash against the Austrian champions.
