Rose reveals Haaland is "very questionable" for Dortmund's clash with Leipzig

Borussia Dortmund are sweating over the fitness of Erling Haaland ahead of their Bundesliga crunch clash with RB Leipzig.
Borussia Dortmund coach Marco Rose has revealed that Erling Haaland is "very doubtful" for Saturday's Bundesliga game against RB Leipzig.

The Norwegian international picked up a knock in Norway's 9-0 victory over Armenia a few days ago.

"Erling Haaland is very questionable," said Rose at the pre-match press conference, as cited by the club.

"The foot is completely bent, the ankle is very swollen. Thorgan Hazard looks pretty decent, so we'll take a look at it in training. Youssoufa Moukoko is back and an option for the game again."

For the first time since the pandemic hit, all 81,365 tickets for Saturday's game at Signal Iduna Park have been sold.

"The most important personnel issue is the return of the fans," emphasized Rose.

"We're really looking forward to everyone being there! That will give us another push for the rest of the season. Football is now becoming football again as we know it."
