Leverkusen boss rules out signing Gosens
Simon Rolfes has poured cold water on rumors that Bayer Leverkusen want Robin Gosens.
Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes has dismissed the numerous reports linking the club with a swoop for Inter and Germany left-back Robin Gosens.
"There is no offer from Bayer, and there is no intention to buy him," Rolfes emphasized in an interview with the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger.
Rolfes added that he suspects the rumors were spread by Inter as an attempt to publicly put Gosens up for sale.
Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has also commented on the reports. Speaking after yesterday's 3-1 win over Cremonese, he told Italian TV:
"Gosens? I don't know anything about that."
