Reports: Augsburg sign new fullback and outpace Gladbach for Beljo

Various German sources are now reporting that FC Augsburg are on the verge of signing two Croatian youth internationals. Left-back David Colina is said to have agreed to terms with the Fuggerstädter. 

Sky Germany and German tabloid "Sport Bild" also report that the FCA have outpaced Borussia Mönchengladbach in the race for striker Dion Drena Beljo.
Despite heavy links with Borusssia Mönchengladbach, Croatian striker Dion Drena Beljo may actually be headed to the Swabian section of Bavaria. Sky Germany and Germany's main sporting tabloid currently report that the 20-year-old has agreed to terms with FC Augsburg. The German club and Croatia's NK Osijek are now in the process of working out a transfer fee in the €5-6 million range.

Beljo will thus become the most expensive transfer thus far of the current window in German football. Beljo's star rose last season when he contributed 19 goals and four assists in 37 games while on loan at NK Istra. his season, he's netted nine goals and contributed two assists in 19 appearances for his parent club.

Germany's preeminent footballing publication also confirms reports originating from Croatian online news portal "24 sata" concerning the imminent transfer of left-back David Colina of HNK Hajduk Split. The 22-year-old fullback will apparently move to Augsburg for a transfer fee in the neighborhood of €500,000; a deal that could rise towards the €1 million mark with performance bonuses. 

Beljo's fellow Croatian youth international came up though the Dinamo Zagreb youth ranks and spent some time on loan with the AS Monaco reserves. He's made 109 competitive appearances for Hajduk and currently maintains an estimated market worth of €1.5 million in the latest transfermarkt listings.
