The salaries of the Bundesliga sporting directors

RB Leipzig's Ralf Rangnick is reportedly the most well-paid sporting director in the Bundesliga. Fortuna Düsseldorf's Lutz Pfannenstiel has the lowest income.

RB Leipzig sporting director Ralf Rangnick is the most well-paid sporting director in the Bundesliga according to numbers from Sport Bild.


Rangnick is currently also working as the club's head coach which is reflected in his annual salary which was increased from €3,5 million to around €4 million prior to this season.

Meanwhile, Hasan Salihamidzic may work as the sporting director of Bayern München, but his salary of €0,5-1 million a year is below average compared to his colleagues at other Bundesliga clubs.

Lutz Pfannenstiel, who recently took over as Fortuna Düsseldorf sporting director, has the lowest income on the list as he earns below €500.000 a year.
