This was confirmed by RB Leipzig head coach Marco Rose at the pre-match press conference.
"'Christo' is a player who can make a difference, which will help us on the weekend and hopefully in the Champions League on Wednesday. It's great that he's an option for us again, because there's not many players as talented as him in European football," Rose told reporters.
"It must be said, however, that Christo has been sidelined for several months now. He will need some time until he's back to feeling 100% again. It's important to me that we don't expect too much of him too soon."
Rose also provided an update on Dani Olmo, who's currently sidelined with a muscle injury.
"Dani Olmo is working hard and really wants to be back on the pitch. You can tell that he really misses it. We're working to get him back to full fitness and to ensure that he stays injury-free," he noted.
Meanwhile, Willi Orban and Konrad Laimer were passed fit.
